The Aires 1:32 Bücker Bü 131 wheels and paint masks with a transverse tread and no hubcap is a resin detail set that replaces the plastic wheels of a model with more accurate cast resin and adds masks for easy painting of the tires and the discs.
Responsibility details are not available.
This detail set in 1:32 scale from the Aires brand is not a stand-alone model, but an addition for refining a build of the Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann biplane. It holds resin wheels with a transverse tread pattern in the variant with no hubcap, and with them paint masks that make a clean separation of the tire from the disc easier when painting.
The Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann was a German training biplane of the 1930s. Thanks to its easy handling and its sturdy construction it became one of the most widespread basic trainers of its day and was built under license in other countries as well. The characteristic landing gear wheels with their simple mounting are among its typical features.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, carefully cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding and cutting resin. Stick the paint masks onto the tire, spray over them with the disc color and lift them off once dry for a sharp transition.
This is a detail addition, not the aircraft model itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
