A decal sheet in 1:32 scale for the British de Havilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI fighter-bomber. The extent of the sheet is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Mosquito was a British twin-engine aircraft built largely of wood, which gave it lightness and speed. It was powered by a pair of Merlin V12 engines. The FB Mk.VI version is a fighter-bomber: to the armament in the nose was added the ability to carry bombs or unguided rockets under the wing, so a single machine managed escort work, attacks on ground targets and night patrol alike. This version is among the most widespread and offers a wide palette of color schemes.
Decals in 1:32 scale for a model of the Mosquito FB Mk.VI. They serve to mark a finished model and do not take the place of the model or the kit itself. Which particular machines and which inscriptions the sheet holds, and which kit it is matched to, is given in the manufacturer's instructions and on the box.
A decal is transferred off the paper by soaking in water. First varnish the area under the decal with a gloss varnish, because on a flat surface a silvery veil forms under the decal. Cut the decal out as close to the print as possible, soak it for a few seconds and let it rest until it can be moved. Transfer it onto the dampened spot, slide it into place and press the excess water out with a soft cloth from the center toward the edges. Over riveting and broken-up areas a decal softener helps. Finally coat everything with varnish according to the finish the model is meant to have.
The model, paints, varnish and decal softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
