Accessory parts of the MG 15 aircraft machine gun for models in 1:32 scale. The package holds two pieces.
Responsibility details are not available.
The MG 15 was a German aircraft machine gun of 7.92 mm caliber. It served as a flexible defensive weapon in the gun positions of aircraft of the 1930s and the early Second World War; it fed from a saddle double drum magazine, which gives the gun its unmistakable shape.
Two pieces of the weapon for models in 1:32 scale. This is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a standalone model. It pays off where the kit part comes out coarse, above all on the thin elements such as the barrel, the sights and the mounting of the weapon in the position.
The parts are slender and break easily, so cut the surplus material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and only then sand the remainder back. They are bonded with super glue, which you should apply drop by drop with a pin so that it does not run into the detail. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Spray the weapon dark gray or black and run a little graphite or a metal shade over the edges and raised areas so that the metal stands apart from the surrounding interior. Fit the finished machine gun into the position at the very end of the build, ideally after the glazing is in, or it will snap off during handling. The particular preparation procedure is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
For builders of German aircraft in the large 1:32 scale, where the defensive armament is in plain view and weak detail on the gun shows at once on the finished model.
The kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
