A set of highly precise airbrush masks for a model of the British De Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth trainer biplane in 1:32 scale. These are neither decals nor a kit but self-adhesive masks with which you spray the national insignia, the lettering and the stencils directly in paint. The result has no decal carrier film and looks like genuinely painted markings.
Sprayed markings blend into the surface better than a decal, create no silvering and no film edges, and they take subsequent washes and matting without any risk of peeling. The masks cover selected national insignia and technical lettering of the model and suit modelers who want a clean result that is faithful to scale.
The surface has to be smooth, clean and well dried. Seat the mask carefully, press the edges down and spray thin coats of well thinned paint so that the paint does not run under the mask. Take the mask off while the paint is still slightly supple. On multicolored insignia work layer by layer.
The accessory is supplied on its own. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
