The Eurofighter Typhoon is a European twin-engine supersonic fighter. The EF 2000A designation belongs to the single-seat version, as opposed to the two-seat EF 2000B. The exhaust nozzles are clearly visible on the model, because nothing covers the rear end of the aircraft and the view into the nozzle is one of the first places the eye slips to.
The set replaces the exhaust nozzles with a part that has thin edges and a well-detailed interior. Nozzles from the kit tend to be thick-walled and shallow, which makes the rear end look heavy; the replacement part therefore belongs among the upgrades that show immediately. The early version qualifier in the name sets the early nozzle form apart from the later one, so check which version of the aircraft you are building. The scope of the set and the intended kit are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The parts are not polystyrene, so ordinary plastic cement has no effect on them; make the joints with super glue. Cut the excess material off a little way from the part with a sharp blade and sand the remainder down, so that the shape is not damaged. Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and degrease them before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth surface. The specific preparation procedure is given in the manufacturer's instructions. Paint the inside of the nozzle before you seat it on the model, because you will not reach it later. Fine-grained metallic shades, rounded off with warm yellowish and bluish tones at the rim, give the nozzles the look of a stressed surface.
