Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:32 scale is meant for the plastic model of the American Grumman F-14 Tomcat carrier fighter in the F-14D version. It is neither a kit nor a model of its own but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color divisions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without lengthy cutting of tape by hand.
The Grumman F-14 Tomcat is an American two-seat carrier fighter with a variable-sweep wing. It served with the US Navy as an interceptor for the defense of carrier groups, armed with a long-range radar and long-range guided missiles. The F-14D version was the last and the most modern, with more powerful engines and modern avionics.
Degrease the glazing of the large teardrop canopy. Lift the masks off the backing, lay them on the frame of the windscreen and of the hinged section and press them into the edges, working from one corner on large areas. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The wheel masks separate the tire from the hub. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
