1:32 F-14D Super Tomcat is a set of 3D textured instrument panels from Red Fox Studio on decal paper, intended for both stations of the cockpit of the model in 1:32 scale. Intended for the Trumpeter kit.

Colored panels with printed relief that give the cockpit of the model legible instruments without hand painting the individual gauges. The carrier is decal paper: the elements are soaked off in water, slide on the wet base and settle onto the plastic part. Nothing is glued and nothing is sanded; they are handled like decals. The set is intended for the Trumpeter kit.
The Tomcat has two stations one behind the other and each looks quite different. The pilot sits in front at a classic flight panel, the weapon systems officer behind, at a station that has neither full flight instruments nor a head-up display. On the D version a digital upgrade was added on top: screens took the place of some of the round dials and the rear station was given a large flat display, so the panel looks markedly different from the early Tomcats with their array of round scopes. The set therefore takes in two different panels, a pair of side consoles and the long space between the seats - all under a two-part clear canopy that leaves the interior visible along its whole length.
Work station by station and do not start on both at once. First seat the main panel of the front compartment, let it set and only then move to the rear; otherwise you will rumple one element while sliding the other. Keep the water lukewarm and the soak short - the film only has to release, not float. Position with a damp brush and draw the surplus water off with a cotton swab from the center toward the edges, so that no air is held under the relief. Apply decal softener only where the film will not settle into an edge or into the frame of a display, and let it work untouched. With a two-seat cockpit it pays to check that both panels line up before everything dries.
