A photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Eduard focused on the exterior of the American F/A-18 Hornet multirole aircraft in 1:32 scale. It is an accessory made of photo-etched sheet, not a stand-alone airplane model.
It refines the outer features of a model, such as covers, grilles, panels and small surface details. The thin photo-etched parts take the place of simplified plastic sections and raise the fidelity of the surface.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface and form the bends in a photo-etch bending tool. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the sheet before painting and apply a primer.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
