Quickboost F-4 Phantom II front intake covers (FOD) 1:32 is a small resin detail set that will add to a model of the American F-4 Phantom II fighter the intake covers used when it stands on the ground.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an airplane kit but an add-on resin set from the Quickboost brand in 1:32 scale. The set represents the front air intake covers, the so-called FOD covers, which on the real aircraft are fitted over the engine intakes to keep foreign objects out while it is standing and taxiing. On a model they will fittingly liven up a scene of an aircraft on the apron. The set is meant for more experienced modelers.
The F-4 Phantom II is an American two-seat supersonic multirole fighter of the Cold War period. It was marked by a pair of engines, a powerful radar and a wide range of carried armament. It served with a number of air forces around the world.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks carefully and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use respiratory protection when sanding. The covers are usually painted conspicuously, often red, as ground protective items. The surface is usually painted with an airbrush and the detail picked out with a fine wash.
This is an accessory, not a complete model of an airplane. The base kit, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
