A resin set of rearview mirrors for the F-4 Phantom II in 1:32 scale - a fine detail set for the cockpit, not a model on its own.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of rearview mirrors for the F-4 Phantom II fighter aircraft in the large 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but a detail set that replaces the coarse plastic or missing parts of an ordinary kit. In a large scale the mirrors on the frame of the canopy are particularly easy to see, so a fine casting really comes into its own here. The manufacturer is the Quickboost range of the Czech studio Aires.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is a two-seat supersonic fighter and strike aircraft, one of the most widespread Western combat machines of the Cold War. It served with the US Navy, the US Air Force and the US Marine Corps and with a number of allied countries. Rearview mirrors on the frame of the canopy were standard equipment that the crew used to see behind them.
Wash the parts free of the release agent, separate them from the casting block with a sharp knife or a file and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways when sanding resin. The mirrors come into their own best once the base color is sprayed and the frames are touched in with a brush, or with an inserted foil.
The set does not contain the aircraft model itself; it serves as an accessory to a matching kit. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
