This is a resin set of replacement wheels, not a model of the aircraft. It contains detailed landing gear wheels for the American F-4E Phantom II jet fighter in 1:32 scale. The tires have a faithful tread pattern and a suggested loaded bulge that imitates the weight of a heavy machine. The rims are cast with sharp detail of the hubs and the valves.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantom II was a two-seat twin-engined jet fighter. The F-4E version brought an internal gun and became one of the most widely built and most heavily used variants of this famous aircraft.
The resin wheels replace the plastic parts from the Revell kit and raise the realism of the landing gear. The loaded bulge is particularly effective on the heavy Phantom.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Paint the tires in matte black-gray and the rims usually in a light color, and pick them out with a wash. The loaded bulge makes correct seating on a flat surface easier.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
