The large kit offers a detailed cockpit, landing gear, external stores, photo-etched parts and a richly detailed surface, and once built it makes an impressive display model.

The F version is a two-seater with a pilot and a weapon systems officer, while the single-seat version is designated E. The aircraft handles both air combat and strikes against ground targets and is one of the main carrier types of its era.
Given the size of the kit, work section by section and finish the cockpit, the landing gear bays and the engine air intakes first. Glue with liquid cement for plastic, and use a primer and an airbrush. The typical low-visibility gray scheme works well with subtle panel variation and discreet patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
