HAD models 1:32 decals for Hungarian Fiat CR.42 fighters with cross insignia are a sheet of waterslide decals for a large model of this biplane.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of waterslide decals, that is, an accessory for a plastic kit, not a model. It focuses on Fiat CR.42 machines in Hungarian service in the fit with cross national insignia. 1:32 scale is rewarding for decals: the large areas allow clear printing, while a mistake in placement is more visible than in small scales, so give yourself time for the work.
The Fiat CR.42 was an Italian single-seat biplane fighter with a radial engine that entered service at the end of the 1930s. In design terms it was the last generation of biplane fighters, one that in its day already met all-metal monoplanes. Besides Italy a number of other operators used the machine, among them the Hungarian Air Force. Hungarian markings went through several changes during the war and the name of the set refers precisely to the form with crosses.
The surface has to be smooth and glossy, because on a matte finish a silvery edge appears around a decal. Cut the motif out as closely as possible, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest on a paper towel until it starts to slide freely on the backing. Then slide it into place, soak the excess water up and level the area with a cotton bud. On engraved lines and fabric surfaces a softener helps. Once it has dried perfectly, matte the whole model with varnish.
This is an accessory. The kit, paints and varnishes are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
