A replacement propeller for a model of the Fiat CR.42 Falco biplane in 1:32 scale. It replaces the kit part in a place that is the first thing seen on a finished model.

A replacement propeller set for building a model of the Fiat CR.42 in the large 1:32 scale. On a model of an aircraft the propeller is always in the foreground and the viewer sees it against the light, so the shape of the blade and its twist along its length stand out on it. It is exactly those shapes that tend to be simplified in a kit.
The Fiat CR.42 Falco was an Italian fighter biplane and one of the last machines of its kind to see combat in the Second World War. It had fixed landing gear and an uncovered cabin, which makes it a rewarding build as a model: most of the structure is visible and nothing hides it.
A propeller blade is thin, long and twisted along its length, so it is hard to hold in an injection-molded part. A replacement part keeps the shape of the blade and its angle, and the edges stay crisp. On a model in a large scale the difference shows at first glance, because the propeller here is several centimeters long.
Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the remainder, so that the blade is not thinned. Before gluing, check that the propeller sits on the axis and does not point off to one side; once dry it cannot be put right. Apply the paint in thin coats. Add the wear on the leading edge of a blade right at the very end, otherwise further coats will cover it.
The package holds the stated parts. A kit, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
