The Fw 190D engine detail set 1:32 is an aftermarket set of cast resin parts for refining the powerplant of the German fighter. It is not a model but an accessory for an injection-molded kit in 1:32 scale (for the Hasegawa kit).
Responsibility details are not available.
This set is not an aircraft model but an aftermarket upgrade for a plastic kit. It contains cast resin parts, as a rule complemented by photo-etched parts, with which you replace the simplified engine compartment from the box. The set is intended for the injection-molded Focke-Wulf Fw 190D model in 1:32 scale (the kit from the Hasegawa brand) and turns its nose into an open, faithfully detailed engine nook.
The real Fw 190D-9 Dora was a late version of the legendary fighter powered by the inverted V12 Junkers Jumo 213 engine. The resin set captures the shape of the engine, its mounting and the surrounding structure far more faithfully than the plastic parts, so you can build the model with an exposed engine compartment as a striking centerpiece.
First separate the parts from the casting blocks (the gates) with a fine saw or a knife and wash the remains of the mold release agent off them. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Count on refining the fit and on possibly adapting the plastic parts of the kit; protect your airways while sanding resin. Paint with an airbrush in thin coats and bring out the details with a wash.
This is a supplementary set, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
