This item is a standalone resin, 3D-printed kit from the Ukrainian manufacturer Reskit, intended for experienced modelers and collectors. It is not an accessory for another model but a complete miniature of the escape module of the F-111. Besides the resin and 3D-printed parts, the set contains photo-etched parts, 3D decals for the interior, an injection-molded clear canopy, painting masks, conventional decals and a display base.
The F-111 Aardvark had no conventional ejection seats. In an emergency the entire two-seat cabin separated from the airframe as a sealed escape module, which stabilized itself and came down on a parachute. It is precisely this detachable part of the aircraft that the set captures as a striking display model.
First wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, remove the print resin residue from the printed ones and cut away the casting blocks and print supports. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and protect your airways when sanding. Bring out the interior with the supplied 3D decals, mask the clear canopy with the enclosed masks and even out the surface with a smooth coat of primer.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
