The set holds fully colored 3D decals of ammunition belts for the German 20mm MG 151 aircraft cannon in 1:32 scale. These are not ordinary marking decals but micro-printed decals with relief, which imitate the individual rounds and the links of the belt faithfully. It holds four belts of eighty rounds, the equivalent of 320 rounds, in ball and incendiary ammunition, with and without the band.
The MG 151 was a powerful German 20 mm aircraft cannon of the Second World War, used widely in Luftwaffe fighters and attack aircraft. Ammunition belts with their color-coded rounds are among the striking details that bring open gun bays and ammunition boxes to life.
The decals go on with the wet technique: cut the part out, dip it briefly in water and transfer it into place. The relief printing creates the three-dimensional impression of the rounds, so there is no need to assemble tiny resin or metal links. For the best result a matte base and settling with a softener are recommended; once the part is down, do not move it and give it at least 45 minutes.
This is an accessory for detailing, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
