Painting masks for spraying British roundels on the Gloster Gladiator Mk.I in 1:32 scale from MH models. The insignia are created directly in paint.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive masks intended for spraying the British national roundels onto a model of the Gloster Gladiator Mk.I biplane fighter in 1:32 scale. A sprayed insignia has no carrier film, so it does not silver and does not wrinkle over fabric covering or over wing ribs, and on a biplane with a pronounced surface structure that is a substantial advantage. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
The Gloster Gladiator was the last biplane fighter of the Royal Air Force. It entered service in the second half of the 1930s and had an enclosed cockpit, a radial engine and fixed landing gear. The Mk.I version was the first production variant. Although modern monoplanes quickly surpassed it, at the beginning of the Second World War it served on a number of fronts and other countries used it as well. It carried roundels on the upper and lower wing surfaces and on the fuselage.
The surface must be smooth, perfectly dry and ideally coated with gloss varnish. Transfer the mask with tweezers, press it down with a soft stick and seal the edges carefully, paying special attention to a textured surface. Spray perpendicularly and in thin coats. On multicolor roundels work from the lightest circle to the darker one and let the paint set between coats. Take the mask off shortly after it has dried, pulling at an acute angle. Watch out for the bracing and struts of a biplane and spray around them with care.
This is a masking accessory, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package. Check before you buy that the masks match your kit.
