A photo-etched set of cockpit details for the Gloster Gladiator in 1:32 scale covers the Mk.I and Mk.II versions and the naval Sea Gladiator.
Responsibility details are not available.
The brass fret brings the cabin equipment for the Gladiator biplane in the Mk.I and Mk.II versions and in the naval rendition. It contains instrument panels in two variants, seat parts, the throttle control, door details and a Sutton harness. The instruments are printed on clear film and are laid under the etch, by which the panel gains depth.
The Gladiator was the last British fighter biplane and at the same time the first Royal Air Force machine with an enclosed cockpit. It was powered by a Bristol Mercury radial, and the armament was made up of four machine guns. It fought over Norway, over Greece and over North Africa, and it became most famous for the defense of Malta. The naval Sea Gladiator received an arrestor hook and a stowage for a dinghy, thanks to which it could be operated from ships' decks.
The etch is separated with a sharp knife on a glass base and bent in a simple bending tool. The brass has to be degreased and given a primer before painting, otherwise the shade will not hold. Apply cyanoacrylate glue with a pinhead, so that it does not run over onto the printed film. Assemble the seat and the harness away from the model and only then set the finished whole into the fuselage.
