1:32 Hawker Hurricane Mk.I EXPERT masks

New Ware Hawker Hurricane Mk.I EXPERT kabuki masks 1:32

The most complete level of painting masks from New Ware in the large 1:32 scale. The kabuki masks of fine washi (rice paper) tape follow the shape of the part exactly, come off easily and leave no adhesive. The EXPERT level covers the inner and outer framing of the canopy glazing including masks for the sealant color and the inner masks, and further the wheels and other small areas that have to be separated while painting. It is an accessory for painting, not an aircraft model.

The real subject

The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I is a British single-engine fighter of the Second World War. Together with the Spitfire it formed the backbone of RAF Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain in 1940 and claimed a considerable share of the kills. The structure with its metal framework and fabric covering was easy to repair under field conditions.

Use

• Lift the mask off the sheet, set it exactly and press it down on the part
• Spray the paint in thin coats against bleeding under the edge
• Remove the masks shortly after the paint has dried
• The large 1:32 scale puts the emphasis on seating the frames exactly

Who the set is for

• For builders of fighters in 1:32 scale
• For modelers who want complete masking without masking by hand
• For a build painted with an airbrush
• For enthusiasts of Second World War aircraft

This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The paints, the glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
