Aires 1:32 Heinkel He 111 - resin armament set

This item is NOT an aircraft model but a detail accessory from Aires for advanced modelers. It holds cast resin parts and photo-etched sheet with which you replace and refine the defensive gun positions and the armament on a 1:32 model of the Heinkel He 111 bomber in the P-1/2 and H-1/2 versions. The set is fitted into a separately sold kit.

The real subject

The Heinkel He 111 was a German twin-engine bomber deployed from the second half of the 1930s and throughout the Second World War. The early P and H versions were marked by a glazed nose and a row of defensive machine gun positions, whose rendering is the key to a faithful model.

Contents and use

• Resin parts for the weapons and their mounts, for finer detail than the plastic originals.
