A set of decal elements for a model of the Heinkel He 219A-0 night fighter in 1:32 scale. The method of application is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Heinkel He 219 was a German twin-engine night fighter from the end of the Second World War, known by the nickname Uhu. The two-man crew sat in tandem back to back, the aircraft stood on tricycle landing gear, still unusual on German combat machines at the time, and it was among the first production aircraft fitted with ejection seats. The A-0 version denotes the earliest machines delivered, which were flown on night sorties over Germany.
Decal elements for a model of the He 219A-0 in 1:32 scale. They serve to finish off a kit; they will not make a model on their own. The exact extent of the set and the recommended procedure are given in the enclosed manufacturer's instructions.
Before application, check in the instructions whether the elements are self-adhesive or meant to be soaked. The method of application differs between individual ranges, so follow the manufacturer's instructions enclosed with the set. Prepare the base as for ordinary decals: the surface has to be smooth, clean and degreased, while matte or grainy varnish will show up as a bubble under the element. Carry the element with flat-jawed tweezers and press it down with a cotton swab from the center toward the edges. The instrument faces gain depth if you put a drop of gloss varnish on them once they are dry.
The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
