A set of precise self-adhesive New Ware painting masks for a model of the Hawker Hurricane II in 1:32 scale. Masks of the canopy and the wheels for a clean spray.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set holds precise self-adhesive New Ware painting masks for a model of the British fighter Hawker Hurricane Mk.II in 1:32 scale. This is not a model but an aid which eases a clean spray of the canopy glazing and the wheel hubs. The masks are laser-cut out of fine washi (rice paper) tape, they copy the shapes of the canopy frames precisely and, once the paint has been applied, they come off with no adhesive residue.
The Hawker Hurricane was a British single-engine fighter of the Second World War period, powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. Together with the Spitfire it formed the backbone of the fighter defense during the Battle of Britain. The Mk.II form brought a stronger engine and, in the later sub-versions, heavier armament as well; the type found use on many battlefields.
First coat the glazing with the color of the frames, then with the outer color. Transfer the masks carefully, press them down along the frames and lift them off once dry. The masks of the wheel hubs will ease a clean separation of the rim from the tire. The masks are single-use.
These are painting masks, not a model. The paints, the kit and glue are not included in the package.
