A detail set from Quickboost. It is not a model but an accessory for models of the Soviet I-153 Chaika biplane in 1:32 scale. The package consists of resin exhausts with fine casting.
The resin exhausts replace the simplified plastic parts of the base kit. They have sharper detail and more faithfully suggested outlets, so once painted and weathered they look more convincing than the plastic from the box.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and cut off the casting block carefully. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the exhausts in metallic shades and finish them with rust and soot effects. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
