A resin oil cooler for models of the Japanese Yokosuka K5Y Willow trainer biplane in 1:32 scale. The accurate casting replaces the plastic part and brings sharper detail to the fins as well as to the body of the cooler.
An oil cooler is among the clearly visible elements of a powerplant. The resin version renders the fine texture of the cooling fins better, and once painted and picked out they markedly bring the forward part of a model to life. This is an accessory, not an aircraft model.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, cut the casting block away and glue it on with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Pick the fins of the cooler out with a wash or a dry brush.
It is supplied as a resin detail set; paints, glue and the base model are not part of the package.
