A photo-etched detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a plastic model of the Japanese Nakajima Ki-43-II Hayabusa fighter (Allied designation Oscar) in 1:32 scale. This is an accessory made of etched metal sheet, not a stand-alone airplane model.
It adds the fine features that are hard to render in plastic and raises the fidelity of the model. The thin photo-etched parts improve the look where a plastic kit runs up against its limits.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and form the bends on a photo-etch bender. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer so that the paint holds well.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
