This is a set of preprinted color 3D decals for detailing the cockpit of the German Messerschmitt Me 163B Komet rocket fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not a model or a kit - it is a relief decal for the cockpit with three-dimensional structure and faithful colors, which replaces the flat parts of the base kit with no need to paint the dials by hand or work with photo-etch. The set is designed for a particular plastic kit from the Meng brand. It contains a relief instrument panel, side panels and harness belts; every dial has a gloss layer imitating glass.
The Me 163B Komet was a German rocket-powered interceptor of the late Second World War. It stood out for exceptional speed and rate of climb, but had only a very short powered endurance.
After a brief dip in lukewarm water, release the part from the backing film with tweezers and place it in position in the cockpit. Relief decals are thicker than ordinary decals, so set them with a water-thinnable glue or with acrylic varnish. The set is better suited to more advanced modelers.
