A resin model of a large-capacity fluid tank with a capacity of 1000 liters in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker Plusmodel. A striking prop that instantly creates a logistical background in a diorama: a store of water, fuel or operating fluids, without which no real operation can manage.
The tank works splendidly as the dominant feature of a workshop yard, a depot or an equipment post, but it also comes into its own as a load on a cargo bed or a flatbed, as transporting liquids is a rewarding subject in itself. Beside it, smaller props stand out: jerrycans, barrels, hoses or a figure at work. The maker's range of volumes also offers a smaller, six-hundred-liter tank, with which a whole storage operation can be put together.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent residue, cut off the casting blocks and bond the joints with super glue. Choose the color scheme according to the purpose: clean industrial white or gray for operating fluids, matte military shades for field service. Streaks, stains left by evaporated liquid and dust around the bottom will give the tank the credibility of a thing in use.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
