Messerschmitt Bf 108 Taifun wheels spoked 1:32 is a set of replacement resin wheels in the spoked form. They are cast replacement parts for a model, not a kit and not photo-etch.

This set deals with wheels in the spoked form, that is with a lightened rim through which you can see inside. Such a part is precisely a nightmare for injection-molded plastic: the thin spokes fill badly in the mold, the result tends to be stocky and the seam between the halves runs through the worst possible place. A resin casting gets around that — the spokes can be subtle, the openings genuinely open and the surface free of a parting line. Note that Eduard offers wheels for this type in more than one form under different part numbers; this is the spoked variant, not the solid-disc one. The manufacturer is the Czech firm Eduard.
The Messerschmitt Bf 108 Taifun was a German four-seat all-metal low-wing monoplane of the 1930s for touring and liaison flights, in design the forerunner of the later fighters of the same brand. On machines of this era the form of the wheels differed between production batches and between operators, so before buying it makes sense to compare a photograph of the particular machine you are building.
Wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water, so that the mold release agent disappears. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw and support the spoked rim while cutting, as the thin bars break easily. Sand wet and with respiratory protection. It is glued with super glue; cement for plastic does not work. A primer before painting. A spoked wheel is rewarding to paint separately: first the rim, then the tire with a brush around the circumference, possibly with the help of a circular mask. A purely black tire looks artificial — a dark gray tone with light dust sprayed at the contact patch is more suitable.
It is an accessory for a model, not a kit in its own right. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
