The resin detail set Quickboost exhausts for the Nakajima Ki-84 in 1:32 scale replaces the plastic exhaust stacks with precise castings.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set from the Quickboost brand in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a set of replacement exhaust stacks for a matching kit of the Japanese Nakajima Ki-84 fighter. The resin castings have hollowed outlets and fine edges that are hard to achieve in plastic, and they are fitted in place of the split plastic parts. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.
The Nakajima Ki-84, known to the Allies by the code name Frank, was one of the most capable Japanese army fighters of the end of the Second World War. It was powered by a strong air-cooled radial engine and stood out for its speed, its rate of climb and its agility. The short exhaust stacks along the sides of the cowling are among the characteristic features of the subject.
Wash the parts to remove mold release residue, separate them from the casting blocks carefully and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. The exhausts come into their own once painted in dark metallic and rusty shades with burnt marks added at the edges.
This is an accessory resin set, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
