Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set from the Brassin line by Eduard in 1:32 scale. It is not a model, but a detail accessory. It replaces the plastic main wheels of a kit with faithful castings of tires with the period tread pattern and detailed hubs. It is intended for models of the American Curtiss P-40 fighter.
The resin wheels offer a crisper tread pattern, fine sidewalls and better rendered hubs with brakes than injection-molded plastic. They usually come with a weighted tire effect, so the model looks realistic on the ground. On the P-40, with its characteristic landing gear, the wheels are clearly visible.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the tires in a matte finish, set the hubs apart and emphasize them with a wash if you like.
This is a detail accessory, not a model in its own right. It calls for a matching base kit. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
