A resin detail set. It is NOT an aircraft model but a replacement part: a faithful Curtiss Electric propeller for models of the American Republic P-47 Thunderbolt fighter in 1:32 scale. A casting free of bubbles with a crisp blade shape replaces the simplified part from the kit.
The P-47 Thunderbolt was a massive American fighter and fighter-bomber of the Second World War with a radial engine and a turbocharger. Some of the machines flew with the electrically controlled Curtiss Electric propeller, whose blade shape differs from the Hamilton Standard type.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent and cut off the casting stubs. The set is made as a direct replacement, but check the fit with a dry run all the same. It is bonded with super glue; paint the blades with an airbrush and pick out the leading edges and the warning stripes with a brush. Sand the resin with protection of the airways.
This is a replacement part, not an aircraft model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
