A ready-made instrument panel from the LööK line, intended for the cockpit of a model of the P-51D-5 fighter in 1:32 scale. It replaces the part from the kit, which tends to be only coarsely suggested or handled with a decal. And the panel is the most exposed thing in the cockpit: in a large scale every dial is visible under a canopy slid back, and this is exactly where replacing a single part shows most in the result.
The P-51D was an American fighter from the end of the Second World War, recognizable by its bubble canopy with an all-round view. The D-5 designation belongs to an early production block of this version; the machines from it did not at first have the dorsal fin fillet ahead of the vertical tail that later examples received. Anyone building exactly such an aircraft will appreciate that accessories are distinguished down to the level of the block.
For the builder who wants the cockpit finished quickly and yet better than the kit handles it. The work is a matter of a single part, so the set also suits anyone who has been avoiding photo-etch so far. The manufacturer's instructions give the exact contents of the package, the recommended procedure and which kit the part is cut for, so hold the part against your own model before building.
An accessory for the cockpit is supplied. The model, the paints and the glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
