P-51D Mustang propeller with a jig is a resin propeller with an assembly jig in 1:32 scale from the maker Quickboost. A detail accessory, not the whole model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds a resin propeller for a model of the P-51D Mustang fighter in 1:32 scale together with a painting and assembly jig. That makes it easier to line the blades up and to paint them cleanly. The accessory replaces the plastic propeller of the base kit; it is not a model of the whole aircraft.
The P-51 Mustang is an American single-seat fighter of the Second World War with the Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engine (built under license by Packard). The P-51D version was among the most widespread and carried a four-blade Hamilton Standard propeller with prominent cuffs at the blade roots. It is precisely this type of propeller that the set captures.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and do the sanding with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue. Use the jig to set the blades to the correct position before the glue dries.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
