A pre-painted set of 3D decals on decal paper from the manufacturer Quinta Studio, intended for the detailed fitting out of the interior of a model of the fighter biplane Pfalz D.III in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory which replaces and completes the interior elements of the cockpit: the instrument panel, the side panels, the equipment and further details. The parts are multi-layered, plastic and colored at the factory. The set is cut for the Roden kit.
The Pfalz D.III is a German fighter biplane of the First World War with an elegant semi-monocoque fuselage. It was deployed on the Western Front and valued for its firm structure and its good behavior in a dive. The open cockpit with wooden and fabric elements offers a rewarding space for detail.
The set is applied in much the same way as classic decals, as the individual parts are released in water and transferred into place. These are, however, multi-layered flexible 3D decals which will not crack even on the edges and which create the impression of a plastic, tonally matched interior on the model. Do not use decal softener or setting solution; the chemicals would damage the printed resin layer. Painting is not necessary.
It is an accessory for the interior, not a model of the aircraft. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
