SPAD VIIc.1 with Russian skies 1:32 Roden is an injection-molded plastic kit of the French fighter in the version deployed on the Russian front.
Responsibility details are not available.
This plastic kit from Roden represents the French SPAD VIIc.1 fighter biplane in the large 1:32 scale. This boxing focuses on machines deployed on the Russian front and also offers winter ski landing gear. The set is made of injection-molded plastic, holds a detailed engine and a well rendered cockpit; decals for period Russian markings are enclosed. The model is meant to be glued and painted.
The SPAD VIIc.1 was a robust French fighter biplane with a powerful V8 engine, which stood out for its sturdy structure and its speed. The machines were also built under license in Russia and were deployed on the German-Russian front. Ski landing gear made winter operation from snow-covered airfields possible.
A biplane calls for careful seating of the struts and the bracing wires. Use liquid cement for the plastic and work up the cockpit and the engine before closing the fuselage. Add the rigging wires with fine thread, paint the ski landing gear as wood and the metal engine parts in metal shades.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
