An accessory to models of the British Supermarine Spitfire fighter in 1:32 scale. The particular contents of the package are given by the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Supermarine Spitfire is a British single-seat fighter of the Second World War and one of the best known aircraft of all. Its distinguishing mark is the elliptical wing with a thin section, thanks to which the machine has an unmistakable silhouette from every angle. It stayed in the armament from the prewar versions to the end of the war, with the early rendition powered by the twelve-cylinder Rolls-Royce Merlin V engine and the later machines by the more powerful Griffon, likewise a twelve-cylinder in V. That is exactly why the individual versions differ from one another in the nose, the exhausts, the propeller and the tailplane.
The set is meant for a model of the Spitfire in 1:32 scale. In a large scale the small things stand out that would be lost in smaller dimensions, and accessories therefore tend to make sense even where they would be needless in 1:72. The range of the package and the intended use for a particular version of the Spitfire do not follow from the designation of the set, as they are given by the manufacturer's instructions.
The parts are not of polystyrene and ordinary plastic glue has no effect on them, so use cyanoacrylate glue. Cut the surplus material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder carefully. Wash and degrease before painting, otherwise the paint holds badly. Try the seating dry before gluing: the versions of the Spitfire differ in details and tuning the play is easier before painting than after it.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
