This is a pre-colored photo-etched accessory from the Czech firm Eduard in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit but a set of photo-etched restraint belts for the seats of the TBF/TBM Avenger torpedo bomber. The pre-colored form makes it possible to fit the belts without laborious painting and brings the cockpit markedly to life.
The Grumman TBF Avenger, built under license by General Motors as the TBM, was an American carrier-based torpedo bomber of the Second World War with a radial engine. It was deployed in the Pacific and was among the key machines of the navy.
Separate the pre-colored self-adhesive belts with a sharp blade and fit them on degreased seats. Make the bends along the etched grooves, and super glue will help with firm joints. Work with fine tweezers.
The accessory is supplied without the base model; that is not included in the package.
