It is not a kit but a landing gear accessory that replaces the kit main wheels with more faithful resin parts of the early type, with the matching hub shape and tire pattern. The set is intended for models of the Hawker Tempest Mk.V and the Hawker Typhoon Mk.I.
The Tempest grew out of the design of the Typhoon and the two types shared a number of features, including similar rugged landing gear. Early machines used wheels with a different hub and tread from the later variants; the correct type of wheel matters for a faithful model.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and separate them from the casting blocks. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the hubs and the tires separately and bring them out with dust pigments for a realistic look.
The set contains resin parts and serves as an accessory for a kit. The basic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
