A resin detail set from the brand CMK in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit but an accessory that replaces the kit exhaust stacks with more faithfully rendered resin parts. The advantage is that they do not have to be glued from halves and usually have suggested hollow outlets. The set is intended for Hawker Tempest models in the Mk.V and Mk.VI versions. The set is intended for the Special Hobby kit.
The Hawker Tempest Mk.V and Mk.VI were powered by the powerful Napier Sabre engine with its cylinders arranged in an H and with characteristic rows of short exhaust stubs along the sides of the nose. The Tempest was among the fastest piston fighters of the end of the war, excelled at low altitude and became known, among other things, for shooting down V-1 flying bombs.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The exhausts come out well once painted in metallic and rusty shades and then accentuated with pigments and a dark wash into the recesses.
The set contains resin parts and serves as an accessory for a kit. The basic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
