Replacement wheels for an aircraft model in 1:32 scale. Wheels are among the parts most visible on a finished model, because the aircraft stands on them and the eye has them at its own level. Which type of aircraft they are intended for does not follow from the designation of the item, so compare the diameter of the wheel and the shape of the hub with your own kit before building; the manufacturer's instructions give the details.
Cut the surplus material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the rest away carefully so that the outline of the tire is preserved. Then try the mating surface dry, and only then glue. The joint is best secured with super glue; wash and degrease the surfaces before both gluing and painting, or neither the paint nor the glue may hold.
A tire should not be pure black, which looks flat on a model; a very dark gray complemented by fine dust at the contact patch looks better. Paint the hub separately and fit it to the tire only once it is dry, or use a circular mask. In 1:32 scale even the pattern on the tread is visible, so it pays to bring it out with a light dry brush.
The set is for modelers who build aircraft in a large scale and want landing gear more accurate than the base kit offers. It also serves where the original wheels are damaged or have been lost.
