1:32 WWII USAAF oxygen tank G-1 PRINT is the G-1 oxygen tank, meant for fitting out the interior of models in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Eduard has added to its range of accessories the oxygen tank designated G-1, of the kind carried by American aircraft of the Second World War. It comes in the large 1:32 scale as a single part for improving interior spaces; the aircraft itself the modeler builds from another kit.
The G-1 tank carries a different designation from the cylinders of the A series and in a model it therefore stands for a different element of the oxygen system. It is exactly such inconspicuous pieces of equipment that make the difference between a smooth interior out of the box and a space that looks filled and alive. It is worth it above all on machines with glazed or open parts of the fuselage, where there is a good view in.
Before gluing, think the position through so that the part follows on from the surrounding bulkheads and does not cross the control cable runs. Level the cut surfaces on a sanding plate and use respiratory protection while sanding. Cyanoacrylate glue will manage the attachment; on a larger seating face a gel with a longer setting time comes in handy. Once painted, a dark wash that brings out the shape helps, along with light wear on the edges.
The set does not replace a kit and does not contain paints.
Seat the tank so that the suggested hose connection runs from it toward the seat. A cylinder standing free, with no connection to the surrounding bulkheads, gives away that it is an ornament added afterwards.
