A scenery material from the Spanish brand AMMO of Mig Jimenez: a backing sheet with laser-cut paper nettle leaves, colored through in advance in green shades. The size of the leaves corresponds to 1:32, 1:35 and 1:48 scale, and the name gives all three. It is neither a kit nor a finished plant — it is a loose material from which you put the growth together as the scene requires.
The nettle is a rewarding plant for neglected corners — around fences, by walls and the foundations of buildings, in a ditch along a track, in ruins and at the edges of a forest. In a scene it reads unmistakably and at the same time makes clear that nobody has looked after the place for a long time. It works well in combination with static grass and with scatter material, where it creates a higher layer of the growth.
For builders of dioramas and vignettes who want to put the vegetation together themselves and keep full control of both its density and its color. The work calls for patience and a steady hand, but the result looks considerably more credible than a ready-made artificial plant.
The material is supplied as a sheet for further work. Glue, wire and paints are not included in the package.
