Responsibility details are not available.
This Star Decals set carries the markings of the Dutch YPR-765 infantry fighting vehicle, which was part of the foreign aid in the years 2022 and 2023. It is intended for building a model in 1:35 scale.
The YPR-765 vehicle came into being in the Netherlands as a licensed version of an armored vehicle derived from the M113 chassis, and it differs from a plain carrier above all in that part of the machines were given a small rotating turret with an automatic cannon. The hull is welded from light alloy, is amphibious and is rounded out with additional side armor plates. Once more modern hardware had been introduced, the Netherlands moved the vehicles into reserve and later passed some of them on. In service it appeared in several purpose-built versions, from the transport one to the command one. Several different machines on a common basis can therefore be built for a display cabinet.
The additional side plates make up a busy surface with gaps in which the carrier film readily cracks. Divide a larger design into smaller parts, therefore, and lay them down one by one. Add softener drop by drop and let it act without touching it. Mark the turret only once it is finished, so that a decal is not damaged during handling. Once dry, carefully wipe the remains of the softener off with a damp cloth.
