Water-slide decals in 1:35 scale from Star Decals. The sheet is devoted to the British light Ferret Mk 2/2 and Mk 2/3 scout cars during the conflicts in Malaya and Indonesia in the 1950s and 1960s and offers period-accurate markings.
The Ferret was a British light four-wheeled scout armored car proven in many postwar conflicts. In the Mk 2/2 and Mk 2/3 variants it served for patrolling and reconnaissance in the tropical setting of Southeast Asia. The set holds registration numbers, unit insignia and tactical designations for putting particular vehicles together.
Apply the decals onto gloss varnish and use a softener, so that the design seats onto the busy hull. Once dry, go over them with a matte varnish and add weathering matching damp tropical service.
This is a sheet of decals on its own. The model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
