The C/2 designation says that this is the second part of group C in the large 1:16 scale. Firma49 split the group into two separately sold sets, so the customer can get only the one he needs, or both and gain a wider choice of faces. This is not a figure or a model, but an accessory for modifying a figure that is already built or only part-built.
Production figures tend to have a face that repeats in every package, and in a scene with several figures that is glaring. A replacement head removes the problem and at the same time allows the direction of the gaze to be changed, which is fundamental to the story a scene tells: the figures can look at one another, watch the horizon or look down at their work. In a large scale a good head also stands up to close inspection, which small scales withstand less well.
Separate the original head with a cut under the chin and level the surface, so that the new one seats without a wedge. It is a good idea to paint the head separately and attach it only once it is finished, because it is easier to handle that way. Choose a light base, build the flesh tone in several thin layers and only at the end add the eyes, which decide the expression. Lay in a short beard or stubble with a glaze in a gray-blue tone, not with black. Unify the transition between the neck and the collar after gluing, so that the seam is not noticeable.
