The set holds precisely shaped self-adhesive holographic films which on a finished model imitate the colored gleam of the glass of the sights, periscopes and sensors. It is not a kit or a paint but a finishing accessory for more faithful optics; the target kit is Rye Field Model.
The films are stuck onto the areas of the optics and the vision ports, where they replace bland molded parts or painting. The holographic layer changes shade with the angle of view, so that the glass looks like real lenses. The accessory is meant for a model of the Soviet and Russian T-80U main battle tank with its gas turbine in 1:35 scale.
Clean and degrease the base. Cut the features out with a sharp knife, transfer them with tweezers and press them down; adjust the position while the film has not yet bonded firmly.
The accessory does not hold paints or glue. It is a self-adhesive film applied dry.
