The last of the damaged variants of the 200 liter drum in this line contains ten pieces and is made for scenes in 1:43 scale. It is not a kit, but material from which the setting around a finished model is assembled.

How to compose with damaged pieces

Material that has been set aside is never placed regularly. The rule of three helps most: two or three groups of different sizes, free space between them, and one lone piece off to the side that leads the gaze further into depth. Damaged drums do not have to stand, either. On the contrary they work best tipped on their sides, leaning against a wall or half sunk into the terrain, because it is exactly that which shows that nobody is counting on them any more.

Painting and setting into the terrain

Choose the shade so that it stands apart from the surrounding soil, otherwise a drum will vanish in a grassy area. Faded color on the upper side and a richer shade on the shaded side will imitate the action of the sun. Fill the gap between the drum and the ground with fine dust or paste, so that the object does not look as though it is lying on the surface. A little vegetation leaning against the drum will close the whole impression off.
