1:48 F4F-3 Wildcat Early .50 Browning barrels and pitot tube is a set of turned metal machine gun barrels and an early-version pitot tube for models of the Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat.
Responsibility details are not available.
A precise drop-in set by MASTER for models of the Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat in 1:48 scale. It contains turned brass barrels for the .50 caliber (12.7 mm) Browning wing machine guns with drilled cooling jackets and a turned pitot tube. This early (pre-war) version has oblong cooling holes. The set replaces the plastic parts of the kit with more faithful metal ones that do not deform and take fine detailing.
The Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat was a carrier fighter of the US Navy from the beginning of the Second World War that carried the brunt of the fighting in the Pacific until more modern types took over. Early machines differed from later ones among other things in the design of the barrel cooling jackets and in the shape of the pitot tube.
For modelers who want to raise the realism of their Wildcat with fine metal details instead of plastic ones.
This is an accessory set, not an aircraft model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
