A turned metal part in 1:35 scale for a model of the British 17pdr SP M10 tank destroyer, that is the M10 rearmed with the 17-pounder anti-tank gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
The designation 17pdr SP M10 belongs to the British conversion of the American M10 tank destroyer. The British built their own 17-pounder anti-tank gun of 76.2 mm caliber into its open-topped turret, that is a weapon with a markedly longer barrel and a muzzle brake, which could deal even with armor that the original American gun was not up to. The longer and heavier barrel had to be balanced, and so a further counterweight was added at the rear of the turret. In established usage the machine is called Achilles, but that is a nickname, not the official designation, which stayed descriptive.
It is a turned metal part for this vehicle in 1:35 scale. Metal holds its shape, stands careful handling and needs no sanding away of production marks. What exactly the package contains and which part of the model the part belongs to is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Wash and degrease the metal part before gluing, because on a greasy surface neither glue nor paint holds. It is glued with super glue applied in a small amount; wipe any excess away at once so that it does not run into the surroundings. Try the fit dry and check it from the side and from above. Spray a thin coat of primer before painting and only then the shade of the vehicle, otherwise the finish will peel off during handling.
For modelers of British and Allied vehicles of the Second World War in 1:35 scale. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
